This session lays the groundwork for a chapter in the June 2020 Report to Congress on Medicaid and CHIP on how to improve integration of care for dually eligible beneficiaries. The presentation contains a lengthy list of the policy options that staff have identified to date, grouped into the following sections:
- encouraging greater enrollment in integrated models,
- making integrated care offerings available to more beneficiaries,
- promoting greater integration among existing offerings, and
- creating a new program for dually eligible beneficiaries.
