Medicaid full-year equivalent enrollment is presented by eligibility group and state.
Children and adults under age 65 who qualify for Medicaid on the basis of disability are included in the disabled eligibility group. Individuals age 65 and older eligible through an aged, blind, or disabled pathway are included in the aged category. Each category is further divided between all enrollees and full-benefit enrollees. Of the 80.8 million Medicaid full-year equivalent enrollees in fiscal year 2021, a little more than 74 million were full-benefit enrollees.
